about
Ch.8 Vitals:
Sonna directed you to a nearby lake that was believed to be where most people find their resolutions and most interesting events occur. You head in this direction. Although it does feel a bit cliche. You arrive at the crystal body of water and scan the area for anything that seems fulfilling. You see bumps appear far offshore. You debate whether these are just waves. There’s only one way to know for sure. You dive in headfirst into the crisp water that would be clear if it wasn’t so deep. You see a light as the bubble clear away. Swimming towards it you realize its farther and deeper than you previously estimated. You swim faster, stronger, consuming more energy and oxygen. You’re getting closer, you wonder if it is too late to turn back and reach the surface. It most likely is. You can hear your heartbeat forcefully throb in your skull. It feels like its slowing. Boom...Boom…..Boom……….. You reach the entrance of the light.. Your heart beats again. You’re alive.
